At this point, Burton mentions something about how Nick needs to contact his assistant, Sheila, about getting the lease on his BMW transfered over, and Nick needs to change over the service on his cell phone.

Nick is miffed, partly because Burton chose that place, that day, to bring this up, and hands Burton the phone and tells him not to worry, he'll take care of the car, F&A won't be responsible for it, or something like that

I am a bit confused with this .. :confused:

Change over the service on his cellphone ? Meaning F&A won't pay for it anymore .. ?

Then why would they let Nick keep the BMW ? And how would Nick take care of the car .. if F&A sort of owns it ?

I'm also confused about what a lease is ... :confused:

Ah leases are not my strong point *guiltily* but I think you put some money towards the car... its known as a lease... other than that I'm completely hopeless!

As far as I can gather the car is owned by F&A, so its not directly Nick's car, but as he was working for F&A he got the car leased to him...

As for the cell phone - that couldn't have been Nick's phone it was given to him by F&A while he was working there

Its a whole leasing thing... :lol: which I don't understand anymore than you...
