In her office, Lulu meets with Mrs. Webber and her daughter. They are bringing a suit trying to get money so that her daughter can go to another school district because she is being ostracized at her current school. The mother explains that her daughter is a cheerleader, and that the girl underwent a discipline review for “oral copulation” on a school bus while returning from a basketball came.
As this suit would involve a monetary settlement, Alvin tells Lulu she should send them away. Lulu suggests that they take the case, arguing that the fees from the case would be useful at LSP right now. Alvin says no, LSP is non-profit, therefore they can’t.

F&F conference room Tim and Nick are shadow boxing as Tim tells the story of one of his fights to Nick and Burton. As they start, Nick says, “Just remember, I’m only a lawyer!” and grins. As the story finishes, Burton brings up the business deal Nick had mentioned to him, and even offers to help Tim get back with his old promoter. Nick takes his leave as the two start talking in earnest.
As Nick leaves, Burton calls him “Slugger.”<br>

He wants them to go shopping together for her new car! Not what Lulu expects after all that's happened between them! It's clear she expects something much more romantic.
And yes, LSP is experiencing temporary money problems.

Out in the hall, Lulu comes into the lobby as Nick leaves the conference room. Nick tells her he had planned to pick her up for their shopping expedition. Lulu looks nonplussed for a second, but asks Nick if they can do it another time as she has something else to take care of right now. Nick says sure, and Lulu heads off to talk to Jake, leaving Nick a bit confused.
Lulu offers the litigation suit to Jake, who isn’t interested as it’s only worth $30,000. Lulu explains that she’ll do all the work in return for half the fees going to LSP. Jake finally agrees when Lulu point out that she’s always having to turn this sort of case away and she could always point them in F&F’s direction.

A gym Burton is there to tell Tim that he’s talked to Tim’s former promoter, and that the guy can set up a fight for Tim in a few days with a $6,000 purse. Tim says great, but he will also fight in another fight tonight. Burton tries to dissuade him from tonight’s fight, which isn’t worth much money, but Tim insists he’ll be fine, that it isn’t too many matches in one week.
Later that night, Burton goes to watch Tim fight.

F&F, that same evening Caroline comes by to see Nick. Nick explains that his dad has already left, but Caroline tells him she wants Nick to handle this particular case. She explains that her husband and Burton move in pretty much the same circles, so she feels more comfortable with Nick handling, even though Nick argues that Burton has more experience with this sort of thing.
Caroline tells Nick that she loaned Ben the money to “buy a condo in the city.” She also explains that she and Ben were involved for a while, and that is why there was no loan agreement drawn up. Nick asks if she has receipts from this affair, and when she says yes, he explains that they will help her in her case before the grand jury.

Sorry to interrupt .. But Burton is good with the fact that Tim fights again?... that`s not bad for getting the custody of Tim`s son?? Sorry i don`t get it.. If Burton is he`s lawyer shouldn`t he must look for his best interests for the case? Besides he then goes and watched him fight??

LSP Lulu is meeting with the Webber girl. She asks if oral sex is a common thing on the school buses coming back from ball games. The girl finally tells Lulu that it was a cheerleading initiation, and that she was made to do it.

Burton's not involved in the custody suit, only in helping Tim find representation as a boxer and in helping him with other business matters. Burton is worried about Tim fighting, mostly because Tim could get hurt in this first fight and not be able to fight in the second one, which is worth a lot more money.
