F&F LuLu comes in and confronts Jake regarding the second case he brought in. She tells Jake that under the circumstances he should give all the fees from the Webber case to LSP. Jake has them cut LuLu a check for the full $13,000. Good move Lulu..... ;D

LSP Tim comes to see Nick, telling him he wants to give custody of Oscar back to the Carpenters. He says that since he can’t fight right now or do his other job, he can’t take proper care of Oscar. When Nick asks about the pizza parlor, Tim says he can’t afford to buy into it right now, and his cousin needs another investor, not another employee. Nick tells Tim to hang on while he contacts the Carpenters’ attorney so they can set up favorable custody terms.

Maybe 8, Hales? I'm not exactly sure. He's in school, but not very old.

Lulu’s house Caroline is fixing a martini as Lulu arrives home. Caroline tells Lulu that she talked to Jerry, and he wants to try to work through things. Then she turns around and says she wants to stay with Lulu a bit longer to keep an eye on her.

LSP Mrs. Webber comes by to thank Lulu for referring them to Jake. She says she would like to give Jake something to show their gratitude, and asks Lulu what she thinks he would like. Lulu, remember a comment Jake had made about how he wished blow jobs were common on school buses when he was in school, tells Mrs. Webber that Jake collects snakes.

Automobile dealership Lulu buys the convertible. As she and Nick stand by the car, she tells Nick that the reason she didn’t come to him with the Webber case is that she didn’t want him to be involved if she got caught passing it on and helping out with it. Nick doesn’t say anything to this, but asks if she will be okay driving. When she says yes, Nick says something about how they should head off now. Lulu gets in the car, smiles, and says she can do it alone, with no training wheels, and drives off.

Was ever Lulu THAT smart?.....getting Jake´s money, playing jokes, flirting (finally!) with Nick....even a little with the boxer.....getting a little mad at her mother.....a slight (or strong) hit on your head can help a lot, sometimes!.....

Gym The Carpenters have come to get Oscar, who is very upset with his father and refuses to even give him a hug before leaving. As they drive away, Nick tells Tim that Oscar didn’t mean it, that he’s just upset right now. Tim says he knows. When Nick offers Tim a ride home, Tim says no. Nick points out that Tim lives on the other side of town, but Tim says he’s in no rush as he has nothing to get home to. As he starts to walk away, he turns and thanks Nick for fighting for him.
The End
