Apparently they called Roy and notified him of the incident with Jeremy, skater. But he wasn't concerned at the time.

Lulu does seem hurt by Nick leaving, or at least suprised. She's wearing what looks to be a camisole or something (we see straps). I didn't see a checkerboard, Leonie!

Burton’s house Roy pulls up in his car and Shannon jumps out. Burton is standing on the curb looking grim. Burton starts yelling at Roy, telling him that this is against the law and if he pulls another stunt like this he (Burton) will call the police.

Inside Shannon has fled to her room in anger. She’s shut the door and her music is blasting. Burton goes up, calls out to her, goes in. Shannon starts yelling at him that she’s changing, and to get out. Burton doesn’t come out immediately, but when he does he stands outside the door and tells Shannon that she no longer has permission for the phone, the television, or to listen to music. He says he’ll be back up in one hour and her homework had better be finished. As he turns to go, he turns back and says “I love you.”<br>

F&F conference room Burton, Jake, Nick, Clay are all in a meeting with some new clients. Burton is explaining that they’ve always been a full service firm. Jake then says that Burton will be in charge of their issues, he (Jake) and Nick will deal with their day-to-day issues. Clay chimes in that he’s just there in case they need him. Just then a man enters the conference room. He’s a police detective and he asks Burton to come back to the station with him to answer some questions.

Police station The officer explains that Roy Cantwell has filed charges against Burton, claiming sexual misconduct by Burton towards Shannon. Burton tries to speak, but Clay Simms interrupts him, telling him to say nothing. As the officer tells them they can go, Clay tries to get Burton to let it go for now and they’ll deal with it. Burton tries to stay and argue, but Nick steps in and tells him he has to leave now.

Shelter Laurie is talking with Shannon. Shannon is telling Laurie everything that happened. She says that she was changing clothes and Burton came in on her. She says she tried to get him to leave, but he started yelling and he grabbed her arm and made her sit down. Laurie tells her that she really doesn’t have to tell her any of this, but Shannon surreptitiously glances up at Laurie, then tells her that Burton was drunk at her birthday party and that he was dancing with her friends.

Little cow. And for this the police want to question him? I'm trying hard - but where is the crime?

F&F Clay, Burton, and Nick are in Burton’s office. Clay is explaining what they will have to do to refute Roy’s allegations. He says first Burton will have to take a polygraph. Burton says no problem. Then Clay says he will have to take a test where they will show him photos of children in compromising positions and measure his sexual response to test for signs of pedophilia. Burton looks grim but agrees. Nick just listens.

The Incline Burton is sitting at the bar having a drink. Nick comes in and tells Burton that what he needs to do is meet with Roy and write him a check—pay him off. That way Roy will drop the charges. Nick tells him that this whole thing is too big, that the stink from this is something Burton won’t be able to wash off. Burton listens, but just answers “But I want her back.” Nick, trying to be sympathetic, points out that Shannon is a street kid. She’s “cute and acts sweet” but that’s for show. He says that this is the first of a series of problems Burton will face with her. Burton still says he wants her back. Nick says he knows these kids, that he works with them, and that Burton just needs to let go. Burton doesn’t like this at all.

Nope, sorry. No joke. All because of what Shannon said.
