She greets them both, then explains that she needs to talk to Lulu alone, to get some more information. She goes over things with Lulu, asking if there is anyone Lulu can think of who might be stalking her—ex-boyfriends, clients, etc. Lulu says there are no ex-boyfriends, she and Brian have been together forever. As for clients, she names Gavin Portensky and Albert Gregg, explaining that Gregg had practically stalked his ex-wife. Finally, when prompted, she gives another name, explaining that the guy runs her gym. They had lunch last week, and there was definitely some flirting, but he’s married.

Out in the main office, Kyle Plunkett’s mother has arrived, trying to maker her case with Nick, since Kyle’s father is asking that the custody order be changed, giving him full custody and her supervised visitation. Nick coolly explains to her that she’ll have to take that up with her lawyer, as he is her son’s lawyer, not hers.

As he turns to leave, Kim comes out of Lulu’s office. He tells her he’s leaving as well, and they get into the elevator together. Once the doors close, Kim asks Nick if he knew that Lulu had gone out with a married man. When he answers a surprised no, she continues, telling him that Lulu had lunch last week with a guy who is married.
Nick, changing the subject, asks what she’s doing Friday night. She replies that Mattie will be with his dad, so what does Nick have in mind? When he replies dinner, she names a pricey restaurant, to which he readily agrees.

F&F Nick arrives for the meeting with DBH. Jake meets him in the lobby, explaining the Burton isn’t there, and they don’t know why. Nick says they’ll cover until he gets there.

Just wait until you see it, Spunky. I can't remember the name of the place, but she was clearly testing Nick. She was tickled pink when he said "** it is!"

F&F Nick and Jake are sitting in the empty conference room, glumly still waiting, as the representatives from DBH have obviously left.

LSP Portensky has returned to talk to Lulu. His parents are still pursuing their suit to have him kicked out. He asks Lulu if they can talk in her office, but she insists they stay in the main area. He doesn’t like this one bit, but finally agrees, and quietly confides to Lulu that he is gay. His parents don’t like this, and are upset because he has a “friend” who comes over occasionally. He says that by choice they lock themselves in their room every time the “friend” comes over, that he doesn’t do it to them. Lulu tells him he’s probably going to have to admit this in court (which he doesn’t want to do) if he wants to stop their injunction.

F&F Nick comes into Burton’s office. He confronts his father as to why he missed the meeting with DBH the day before. Burton replies that he was in court and that his duty is to the client he is serving and he couldn’t leave. This doesn’t appease Nick, who replies that he has worked for six months to try to land DBH’s million dollar account, but after yesterday the account is now with another firm. With this, he simply rises and N.W.O.

LSP Nick is in the main area talking with Kyle and his mother. Albert Gregg walks in. Nick excuses himself for a moment and asks Gregg if he can help him. Gregg explains that he’s there to see Mrs. Olsen. Nick asks his name, and then replies that he’s handling Gregg’s case now. He tells Gregg to wait in his office, he’ll be with him as soon as he’s finished with Kyle.
As he returns to Kyle and his mother, we hear Mrs. Plunkett coaching Kyle, reminding him of all the times his father hit him or abused him. Nick comes over, escorts Kyle into the conference room, and asks him if what his mother said was true (after he finally gets the Gameboy out of Kyle’s hands). Before Kyle can answer, Nick looks up and sees Mrs. Plunkett gesturing to Kyle through the window in the door. He gets up and approaches the door, and notices Gregg leaving the office.
