I know. Which makes him suspect. However, when Lulu discovers the box, he's with Kim. Makes you wonder!!!

This was one very unusual and seemed out of place as far as episodes are shown.
Many questions were raised and none really answered. Hope they put this all together soon or this is going to be one confused watcher of TG.
The one part of the episode that I did enjoy watching is the interaction of Judge Damson and NF. She can put him in his place when needed, have him do things that he does not want to (taking a child to an adoption party), give him a chance to fulfill his promises (medical guardian for Leslie), challenge him to do the right things for his clients. At times it seems that her expression show a certain amount of respect for what he accomplishes.
Like everyone else, the arrival of Brian at home seemed out of place. Kicked out of the house and planning to return to Cinncinati and the next thing you know, he is in New Mexico visiting his sick mom. Lulu and Brian greeting each other and going into their home was more like greetings between husband and wife who have been apart for a few days.
Nick was portrayed as someone who did not have his life under control and was just obsessed with Lulu and her stalker. Still do not know who the stalker was or is.
Never have heard NF call his father "Burton" before. Interesting.
Others have mentioned many other "unusual" points that did not fit in. Sure wish DH would clarify what is going on. Would be helpful.
I also wondered why a cop would ever go to the door of their home at night without a weapon. Did Kim really fall asleep prior to NF's leaving the bedroom or did she just want to see what would happen between Lulu and NF.
All I can say is that this was one interesting, confusing, and odd episode.

I noticed that Nick called his father Burton as well. However, when I thought about it, it didn't seem all that out of place. After all, they are in a professional setting, and it is much more professional for him to call out "Burton" across the lobby to get his father's attention than to call out "Dad."

Re: Nick calling his father by his name: Burton. Nick has called his father down the hallway in other episodes and did not use Burton. At meetings with clients and other attorneys in the conference room, Nick never used the name Burton. I don't have a tape of the last episode, but, I thought that in Nick and Burton's conversation in Burton's office concerning not showing up for the meeting with the potential client, the word Dad or son was used. Also, when Burton showed up at LSoP, I thought Nick greeted him as Dad. I think if this was indeed the first time, that Burton would have reacted, at least with a facial expression.
Concerning the episode sequence, I remember seeing on the CBS sight for the Guardian back in November the listing of upcoming episodes and the date of showing. I remember there was a discrepency in the date of release from the iconicsoup's listing. After the rerun of the pilot, the titles and release dates changed order.
