I don't think he is, jevees. I think he's rather slick and smarmy looking.

Mock Trial Nick, as prosecutor, is trying to question the witness, a police officer. Every question Nick asks, Burton objects to, citing his reasons. After about five times, Nick becomes fed up, angrily tells Burton that he wins the mock trial, and walks out. The judge calls a break.
Burton goes after Nick. Nick angrily tells his father that what he said about Burton’s work was about his partnership, and not meant to offend. He points out that last year Burton billed less than Jake. Burton simply asks if Nick has apologized to Shannon yet. When Nick says no, Burton curtly says he needs to.

F&F, Nick’s office Nick is trying to apologize to Shannon, explaining that he’s under a lot of stress and he sometimes says things he doesn’t mean. As he’s talking, he reaches under his desk and pulls out a package wrapped in cellophane with lots of ribbons and sets it on the desk. When he asks Shannon if they can put all this behind them, she just looks at him coldly, gets up, and walks out. Nick takes the package, sets it on his credenza, and goes back to work.

Main lobby Jake runs into Clay. Jake makes a couple of cryptic comments, asking Clay if his parking spot is okay. Clay looks at him a bit quizzically. Just then, Jake’s client shows up. It’s the same guy who threatened Sims in the garage. Jake starts to introduce them, but stops, saying, “but you already know each other, don’t you?”<br>

Burton thought Nick should apologize to her for telling her to "leave us the hell alone."

LSP Nick comes in, and Lulu is obviously preparing to leave. He asks if she’s getting ready to leave for California, and she replies she is. Nick says he wants to drive her to the airport, but Lulu refuses, saying she can take care of it. Nick, exasperated by Lulu’s curt attitude, tells her that if she wants to take the job, do it, but not to make it everyone’s problem. Lulu goes into her office, slamming the door shut behind her. Nick tries to follow her in, but Alvin pulls him away to meet with a new client.

Before Nick can go to his office, James stops him to tell him he thinks Taleek was the wrong guy. Nick advises him to let it go, not to tell Taleek.
Nick meets the new client, a doughty old lady. The hearing is in twenty minutes, so they head for the courthouse. As they leave Nick’s office, he sees Lulu getting onto the elevator. Nick excuses himself and tries to catch up with her, but the doors close and he’s too late.
