I re watched the episode last night. I was so bothered by LuLu's attitude that I had to go back. Here are my thoughts. What did she want to hear from Nick? ''I love you? '' ''I want to marry you? '' Herself was very evasive '' (here we are)'' but doesn't she know now that Nick speaks with his body ( he holds her tighter, he caresses her, he twines his fingers with hers when she talks about the interview)? And not telling him before the others that she is going to the interview! And, on the top of this, refusing his offer to go with her to the airport. Really, if I go back to my dance metaphor, LuLu put her foot too many times on Nicks' ones!
Shannon/Burton/Nick 's stroryline was very good. Burton was mean when he volunteerd Nick for the mock trial because of the day care center comment! But at the end, when Nick is confessing, wasn't it good? We don't know first whom he is talking to then we see Shannon, with her poker face. She knows how to do it, too.
I was glad Jake was able to take his revenge! And the new lawyer is, let's say, not my type.
About James, it is a real nightmare. What will happen to him? Nick was OK with him, though.
After the two sweet episodes, I knew we had it coming and yesterday felt like a punch in my face. And next week, I expect the KO. Not one of my favourite episode, but a very good one. The plots were tight, every one had a part, there were surprises as usual (it is now a trademark). But it let me feeling bad because everyone was rude and unhappy and everyone will be on a hook for the finale... and the next 5 months.

Hi Lambertoise. I liked everything you had to say and it basically reflects what I felt watching last night.
I agree with your assessment of LuLu, she is very passive and seems to expect more of Nick than she is willing to give herself. She has certainly left him without any clear idea of how she really feels.
I thought Burton was much to permissive of Shannon's interruptions of the business meeting. Nick didn't handle it well but Burton should have stopped it before it came to that. I liked the apology though.
I really liked the James storyline and I am anxious to see how it resolves next week.
It was a great show, one of my favourites of the year, although I did miss B & E last week.
