So Lulu doesn't like gross out stories. Maybe its not only Nick who needs to learn to unwind. Its really strange because most doctors wives/girlfriends have heard thousands of them.
Hales, February is in - ah - February.

I'm not sure if is was more the gross stories or the bonding going on between all the others, and Nick and Kim being so cuddly.

Great recap, Gin. I just have one quibble.
I actually had the impression that some of the time during dinner Kim was holding (ahem......) 'something' under the table, but I really don't think it was Nick's 'hand'. Whatever she was holding Nick's reaction was to kind of squirm, grin a silly grin, take her hand in his, and pretty soon to say that they had to leave. Even Lulu's suggestion that they stay for 'just one drink' didn't slow down their hasty retreat.......----But, of course, I could certainly be mistaken.
All in all, IMHO, in 'The Dead' it was Burton who was 'The Guardian' because he was looking out for Shannon, her grandma, and Nick big time.!
A pretty good ep. ----cloud9

It was about when he lived in New York--
He had a neighbor about 80 years old who had a stroke (and apparently vomited in this state). Nick found him a day or so later, and the guy was still breathing, so Nick tried mouth-to-mouth.
Kim's story was about a guy she'd arrested the week before. He'd pooped his pants and then puked in the back of the squad car.

Nick's disgusting story happened when he lived in NY. His 80 year old neighbor had a stroke and was still alive 3 days later when Nick found him. Nick gave the guy mouth to mouth, but the guy was breathing and Nick didn't know. I guess after 3 days the guy was a little ripe too! This was a great ep and Lulu was definetly jealous of Nick and Kim being so lovey dovey... :jealous: = Lulu

Kim was doing most of the cuddling, but Nick certainly was participating and didn't seem to mind one bit!

Nick was all smiley and I agree with Cloud 9 that Kim was reaching further under the table for something other than Nick's hand...

That's okay Annie! Cloud9, you could be right! LOL I need to rewatch that scene, as I was so busy jotting down dialogue notes that I missed some of the "body language."

More than 2 cents...
I liked the scene with Mary and Burton at the restaurant at night when they were talking about how Shannon thought Burton was coming on to Mary. They were all giggly (especially Burton) talking about whether or not he liked her that way...

Just wondering when Nick asked his father if he resigned the judgeship was because of him... it pretty much seems to me now that when nothing goes right for Burton, Nick seems to blame himself for causing his father some ... um, suffering. Does anyone know why? or is just something that has recently occured?
