I'm a bit confused - if he was still breathing surely mouth-to-mouth would be unnecessary? You only apply mouth-to-mouth when breathing has stopped. Clear air passage of vomit (or whatever is causing the blockage) then apply mouth-to-mouth. (Maybe I need I brush up on first aid procedures?)

Oh it's so good to be back after a humongous computer crash. Here I wait all summer looking forward to some good discussions about our Nick and the computer becomes a blank slate. I watched the hand movement and I really think it was the thigh that Kim was groping. When she put her hand on his thigh he then reach down and held her hand. At least that was what I noticed. They did "need" to leave rather quickly after that! Poor Lulu.....did she ever blow it with that Brian. He is obnoxious and has no consideration for her. The body language tells us that they really don't like each other in my opinion. Nick on the other hand likes Kim but mostly for the sex. Soon, I think, he will need intellectual stimulation and Kim will be history. I can't wait to see what the writers have in store for us in the Nick/Lulu department. This last episode had more surprises than I could possibly have imagined so I'm sure they will come up with something quirky for our star crossed lovers.

Another thing.....Calling this episode "The Dead" sure seems like a misnomer to me. Sure there were caskets involved, but WOW everything else was very much alive. ;D ;D Hales, I think Nick carries that baggage from his youth ,of feeling he could be to blame for what happens in his family. With the Mandy trouble and all, he thought that HE was the main reason Burton changed his mind on becoming a judge. I loved seeing Lulu squirm-*-Nick's playfulness (lots of his starch/stiffness is gone)-*-Kim's very "expressive" hands-*-Burton/Nick being able to better express themselves to each other-*-The Fallin & Fallin firm a possibility-*-James still in the story-*-Caldwell and Aide out of the story. I gotta tell you, I'm happy. Congratulations David Hollander. BTW Welcome back Jezbel.

You don't need to brush up on anything. The fact that the man wasn't dead, was what was funny about giving mouth-to-mouth. The poor man could not even protest at Nick's attention, due to the stroke. Plus, I think we were to presume that the man, after 3 days, wasn't very hygenic.

Oh I see now. Yes that is pretty funny.
Who could have imagined Nick telling a funny story where he is actually the butt of the joke? And I missed it! Damn. Can't wait for February.

Nick certainly let Lulu know that he wasn't moping around......jokes, out to dinner, new girlfriend, plenty of rare smiles. Nice!

Has anyone noticed how much weight Dabney Coleman has lost? He looks great. They have mentioned several times this season all ready how old Burton is getting. I wonder if there is going to be some medical scare for him this season?
We haven't seen Barbara since last March. Could this be so she could get her weight under control? Especially with Jake hanging in the threshold!
From the newest pole, it looks like everyone has had enough of Kim, already!!

I watched this with Mark last night. He hadn't seen it before. We just killed ourselves laughing at the dinner scene with the two couples. Really funny stuff! And when Mark saw Lulu's face as she was watching Nick and Kim, Mark just shouted "Whoa! Who's jealous!"
I don't think I said this before, but when Nick and Kim are walking out and she says "You aren't sleeping at my place", Nick says "Fair enough" - but the way he says it is soooo Australian. I don't think I've ever heard an American say it this way, but you hear it all the time here.

Hey Spunky, your right Simon sounded very Australian when they left the restaurant, in fact I burst out laughing when he said 'Fair enough' because he said in such an adorable way... ahem sorry that was there *grabs a bucket so nobody falls* In fact that whole restaurant scene was so funny! I felt for LuLu though, she looked so envious... I could go as far as saying 'she loves Nick' but then I have to duck apples and oranges and tomatoes which isn't what I want to do on Wednesday afternoon, thank you very much There should be a drool icon but it doesn't seem to be working at this present time, hmph.
