Did you find the interplay between Nick and Lulu about the "search" as funny or as Nick being a jerk to her?

You know, at first I thought he was being a jerk, but then I thought they were laughing about it. I'm really not sure. I don't know that we're supposed to know for certain. Lulu laughed as she stood up, but she looked puzzled for a moment before that, as if she didn't know either.

Thanks, I couldn't figure it out either. I personally thought he was being a jerk. Did you notice on the last "Lulu" that she turned her head around almost involuntarily like she couldn't help herself when she had planned to leave? He has her intrigued for sure. Great job on the episode recap. ccb

If I may, I'll post my quote from SBOL, you really have to *see* this folks to get all the nuances, but I'll do my best -- it was something:
"He seemed more concerned about making her know he was okay -- even in that moment -- he was giving to her, it seems."
It seemed things suddenly got real raw between them, like this was no time to play around, or be nervous -- Lulu had started to discuss some things and seemed to be rambling, Nick interrupts her and cuts to the chase. "Why did you marry Brian Lulu?" Then before she can answer - he confesses, in that halting broken voice of his, "I wanted you...I wanted to be with you I thought I made it plain (or clear)" Lulu looks at him meaningfully and heartfelt, "You did." From there (keep in mind right now, I've only seen it once...but I'm sure I'll watch it 40 times tonight -- that scene alone) Then somehow -- they get to the part (sorry for skipping, I need to watch again --badly) about the strip search, this is when I think Nick wants to life Lulu's spirits, he asks her, "Did they make you take your clothes off," and she calls him an "ass." LOLOL It was funny, I have to go watch again.
It was a charming scene.

I forgot that she called him an ass! I tried to write everything down in that scene . . . !

Are yes but isn't all Nick scenes with anyone just about charming?

Not really. He CAN be a total ass sometimes.

Yeah -- her exact words, "You can be such an ass." LOL I think he laughs right there or smiles and she does too.
Yeah, they're all charming - the scenes...but this was extra charming as it was Lulu -- you could see and feel all these undercurrents. Yum.
