One thing I didn't mention, but saw on SBOL, was that Burton also touched him on the shoulder and said let's go, then later after court was over, he took Nick by the arm to introduce him to Mary and Shannon. Nick was kind of hanging back, feeling awkward/shy about approaching them -- given the circumstances.

Lulu's jail visiting outfit was sexy, but not sleazy. She wore slacks and a nice black & white top (sleeveless w/low v-neck). She was also carrying a sweater or matching jacket with her files and brief case. You could see it when she picked up her stuff to leave.
WM looked beautiful. Nice shorter hair, not flat and droopy. Someone on SBOL thought she might have had an eye job, but I think her eyebrows were thinner and with her hair not having that droopy look plastered against her forehead, it just made her eyes look more open.
I got the impression that with their conversation, she and Nick were pretty over. Not to say that something won't happen in the future. When he said I thought you knew (referring to his feelings) and the way she said "I did"...w/no emotion.
IMO this explains why she told Nick about her wedding before she announced it to the office (LSOP). I think she was trying to not hurt him by telling him first in private.
The overall impression I got at the end, was "We're (NF, BF, JS, James, Lulu, etc.) moving on!" :bouncing:

Wow -- I got the exact opposite impression in the Nick & lulu scene. It seemed apparent to me that he is soooo not over her, and conversely, that he is under her skin like nobody's business -- where they go from here, is anyone's guess. I wrote a friend of mine, that it seems DH is setting up a simmering, teasing, there's a whole lot going on under the surface kind of sexual tension for this season with those two -- they'll probably play mad at each other for a lot of it, LOL. Nobody's feelings seem to have dissipated. I thought her "I did," was as poignant, and full of emotion as it gets -- the look on her face when she said it was very moving to me. Funny how different people have totally different takes.
By the way -- I'm on SBOL, and I totally missed the eye job post, LOL -- but my vote would be a firm NO WAY...first of all, what did she have to get tucked to begin with? I think it was that she wore minimal make-up on her eyes, if any -- and that her mouth was a big ol' ripe berry. It made her eyes look more naked or
something. Great strategy, because there was a lot of emotion conveyed on both sides -- it was all in the eyes too.

Just have to add my belated thanks for your posts (see that, it's only one day old and I'm already WAY LATE!). My stupid VCR decided to record the wrong channel :cussing: and now I sit in agony waiting for my mom to Express me the video tape. But you've given me a great picture of the ep. Thanks again!

I don't think NF and Lulu are over for ever. I think if the show lasts long enough, they'll get together eventually. Things will happen in both their lives that will bring them to a point where they can truly get to no one another and begin a relationsip.
:puppy:Nick is not going to pursue her while she's married, but will be aware of her and unless the ultimate Ms. Right comes along, she will always be in his heart. She seems determined that she made the right choice and is not sorry.

Okay so finally Australian's get to see this episode and I thought it was really good. Burton's looks of desperation was so cute... um I mean un-Burtonlike that made me choke up on a couple of occasions... :uhoh: Poor Nick  |
